Alumni Association Activities Reports
Paritala Sriramulu Governemnt Degree College has registered Alumni Association having the registered No. 241/2016. Alumni committee is constituted following the by-laws of government. AlumniAssociation of P.S.GDC, Penukonda is part and parcel of college management and play vital role in the multifaceted development of the college. Being one of the stake holders of the institution Alumni hasextended all the possible support for the development of the institution and furtherance of students. Alumni members of the college are frequently invited to college to create an occasion to the presentstudying students to know and learn from their senior’s experiences, opportunities available for career advancement and the way to appear competitive exams and the way to apply for fellowships. Feedback is collected from the Association members on the curriculum, extra-curriculum and on the infrastructure
of the college and their valuable suggestions are considered, analyzed and implemented for lifting up of the image of college. Some of the Alumni members are working as Lecturers in different institutions. They are seldom invited to give guest lectures to enlighten the students, enrich the academic experience for current students and provide them with real world insights. College is maintaing a separate account for alumni financial contributions for financial contributions.

Substantial contributions of Alumin:
Ø Students of 2018-19 students provided dustbins to all class rooms and labs and organized an awareness program on clean and green in the campus and hygienic conditions to be maintained by avoiding single use plastic in the campus.
Ø Sri P Sudhakar Reddy, counselor of municipality contributed Fibernet and Cable worth of 20,000 to the institution to enhance the digital infrastructure and make wi-fi available to all the students.
Ø Sachivalayam Mahila police, ICDC contributed LED Bulbs and fans to the college on 26.01.2021.
Ø Sri V.Sreenivasulu, Ex Sarpanch, Penukonda Major panchayath provided paint to all the rusted desks in the college worth of Rs1,20,000/- .
Ø Dr. K.Jayappa contributed Iron grill worth of Rs.9000/- to college.
Ø Sri I.V.Kiran provided Iron grill worth of Rs. 10,000/- to the institution.
Ø B.Com Students (2003-2006 Batch) students provided Main gate to the college worth of Rs.50,000/-
Ø Ms. Aruna, Alumni of this college provided and iron grill.
Ø Sri Ashok, Alumni of this college contributed an Iron grill worth of Rs.9000/-
Ø Smt. P.Kalavathi (2000-2003 batch students) Lecturer in Chemistry contributed an Iron grill worth of 9,000/-
Ø M.P.C (2000-2003 batch students) Alumni members of this college provided an Iron grill worth of Rs.10,000/
Ø Alumni Association of the college providing text books, note books and pens to poor students of this college.
Ø To promote cleanliness in the campus they contributed dustbins to all the class rooms and organized an awareness program on maintenance of the institution. Paritala Sriramulu Government Degree College is located in the outskirts of the town, so a tribe of monkeys entering the campus, spoiling fauna and flora of college, damaging infrastructure and classrooms so the Alumi Association of this college came forward protect the infrastructure and fauna & flora of the college from monkeys and intruders by providing grills as mentioned above.In every aspectof the development of college they are extending their helping hand to the college management.
